International Beauty Specialist Course
Our College offers a wide range of professional beauty therapy courses. In order to enable students to gain practical experiences in serving customers prior to their graduation, and be able to grasp hold of the knowledge they learned and put into practice, we will arrange salaried placement for students and provide them with reference letters. The Course is designed for those who have strong desire to develop their career in the field of beauty therapy. This course is to provide opportunities for candidates to focus on the development of the major key skills and the wider key skills in a Beauty Therapy context such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem solving. In addition, it aims to provide opportunities for candidates to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment as a Beauty Specialist.
The candidate will study the theory of all treatments as well as the anatomy of the skin. Recognition of skin diseases and disorders are also a vital part of their training as well as the underpinning knowledge and skills. Candidate are required to successfully perform the skincare treatments, eye treatments, manicure/pedicure, make-up, and Waxing.

This course is specially designed for those who have strong desire in developing their career in the field of beauty therapy. The course will focus its attention to the teaching of Anatomy and Physiology, Skin Care and Treatment, Electrotherapy, Cosmetic Science, Business Organisation and Ethics, Skin Diagnosis and Treatment, Types of Corrective Make-up Techniques etc. The course consists of 3 parts, namely the theory, demonstration, and practice sections, and will furnish student with a comprehensive view on the technique of facial electrotherapy. Students successfully completed the course can sit for the ITEC, CIBTAC or for a further progress of study.

Major Subjects include: Physiology and Anatomy, Food and Nutrition, Different Types of Body Massage Techniques, Posture Analysis and Diagnosis, Business Structure and related Rules and Regulations, Electrotherapy, Thermotherapy, Sound Therapy, Light Therapy and Body Treatment.. Student will study the theory of all treatments as well as the anatomy of the whole body. Contraindications and recognition of skin diseases and disorders and figure analysis are also a vital part of their training as well as the underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully perform the treatments: Figure Diagnosis, Swedish Massage, and Body Electrical Treatments.
