The
Esther Beauty and Fitness College is a registered institute with
world-renowned beauty organisations and examination board. We offer
training courses such as international beauty therapist diploma,
postgraduate diploma and honour diploma and hold related international
examinations, which pave the way for students to enter into the
career of international beautician.
CIDESCO was established in Zurich
of Switzerland in 1946, and is generally acknowledged as one of
the most authoritative international beauty organisations. CIDESCO
has a long history in the field of beauty examination, with members
coming from 36 countries (regions). It is therefore not surprising
that diplomas awarded by CIDESCO are widely accepted and highly
acclaimed by countries around the world, and are accordingly recognized
as proof of professionalism by many countries. CIDESCO has set up
a professional evaluation standard for the beauty industry, and
has also provided a platform for beauticians to exchange their views.
This has enabled a close tie amongst specialists in the beauty industry,
the medical industry, the plastic surgery industry and the cosmetic
industry.

Therapy Examination Council (ITEC)
|
ITEC was founded by Dr. W.E. Arnould-Taylor
in 1947 in England, and has a glamorous history of over 50 years.
The syllabus of the examination board is kept update constantly
in a bid to keep in pace with the development of beauty industry
as well as the advanced equipment. ITEC provides professional beauty
therapy training, thus enabling beauticians to grasp hold of the
state of art technology of the beauty industry. In this way candidates
are capable of attaining high level international standard, and
are competent to provide professional and comprehensive services
to their customers. ITEC has more than 500 registered colleges worldwide
providing its own courses. The courses have won high acclaims in
the industry; graduated students are qualified for professional
beauty services worldwide.

Confederation
of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC)
|
CIBTAC was founded in 1958, and
is the educational department of the British Association of Beauty
Therapist and Cosmetologists (BABTAC). CIBTAC is also an international
awarding body offering over 30 diplomas in Beauty Therapies to accredited
colleges worldwide. The CIBTAC diplomas are widely accepted by countries
in the British Commonwealth as well as in Europe and in the USA.

Apart from being a registered college
of the international beauty examination board, we are also an approved
centre of Edexcel International, a world renowned qualifications
awarding institution. We offer courses leading to the BTEC qualifications.
These include National Certificate in Beauty Therapy Science (NC)
Course and National Diploma in Beauty Therapy Science (ND) Course.
As these courses are accredited by the BTEC, students equipped with
such qualifications will be recognised by over 30 universities and
professional bodies in USA, Australia and fellow British Commonwealth
Countries, and enjoys credit recognition and exemption of examinations.

International
Honour
With a view to reinforce students’ self assertiveness,
and enable them to apply what they have learnt in the classroom,
we opt to organise in house as well as open beauty treatment contests
regularly, and have collected the following awards:
- Represented China and Hong Kong to participate in the 1999
WorldSkills Competition and won the second runner-up prize in
the beauty trade;
- Took part in the First Hong Kong Youthskills Competition in
2000, and won the first and second runners up and many excellent
prizes;
- Our students were the first of its kind from Asia to participate
in the 2003 assessment examination as organised by the Oxford
and Cherwell Valley College, and obtained an outstanding result
of “ 4 distinctions and 4 credits”
